Are you a Geotechnical Design Engineer based in Manchester?

Duration: 6 Months
Hours: 35 Mon-Fri
Rate: Dependant on experience (Inside IR35)
This is an opportunity to work for a leading consultancy working on various infrastructure projects out of Manchester.
As a Geotechnical Design Engineer, you would have ideally worked on network rail projects that have included - retaining walls, foundations, soil and nailing.
The ideal candidate must have:
·Minimum 2 years experience working in Geotechnical Engineering/Engineering Geology
·A degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
·Intermediate knowledge of design software's such as - Slide and GEO5
·CDM, Risk assessment and external audit competency
·Full UK Driving Licence and own car
Desirable:
·Full PTS certification
·Experience of Network Rail design procedures
·Working towards chartership with a recognised professional body
·Local to South Manchester
