Role Overview:
As the Trainee Remediation Project Manager, your role will involve assisting in the planning and delivery of remediation and geo-environmental projects across the UK. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants, contributing to site investigations, risk assessments, method statements, and on-site remediation works.
Your Responsibilities:
Your role as a Trainee Remediation Project Manager will be varied and hands-on, offering the opportunity to gain experience across all stages of project delivery. You will support the planning and execution of remediation works, assist in preparing key project documentation such as risk assessments and health & safety plans, and contribute to the development of site-specific remediation strategies. You'll also take part in site inspections and help implement practical remediation solutions, including soil treatment, groundwater management, and waste handling.
Essential Criteria:
Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Interest in environmental remediation and a desire to progress in the sector.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the country.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
