Job Description
German Lecturer (1 Evening per Week) - Further Education | Cardiff
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic German Lecturer to join a Further Education setting in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate linguist to inspire adult learners to develop their German language skills, confidence, and cultural understanding.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and inclusive German language lessons to learners aged 16+
Teach one evening per week in a supportive and collaborative environment
Prepare and deliver structured lesson plans and assessments aligned with course outcomes
Support learners of varying abilities to achieve their individual goals
Foster an appreciation of German language and culture through interactive teaching
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A degree in German, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related subject
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTLS, or equivalent)
Previous experience teaching German to post-16 or adult learners (FE or similar setting preferred)
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
A commitment to creating an inclusive and motivating learning environment
