Global Chief People Officer Permanent Location: Canary Wharf Salary: £150,000k - £180,000k per annum We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS) to source their next Global Chief People Officer (CPO). This role is pivotal in helping the Foundation transform its HR function to successfully implement the Global People Strategy. The IFRS Foundation brings transparency, accountability and efficiency to capital markets around the world. Through their two standard-setting boards, they develop standards used by companies globally to provide financial reports that meet investors' information needs. About the role: As the Chief People Officer, you will report directly to the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation's HR function. Your leadership will support the organisation's objectives through strategic HR transformation, streamlining HR processes, change management and empowering employees worldwide to excel in their roles. Principle accountabilities: Lead the global HR team in delivering on the organisation's objectives. Develop the HR team to ensure a high-quality global HR service is delivered and fosters a positive culture, promotes continuous development and engagement across the organisation. Cultivate and work with high profile Trustees and Board members and act as a trusted advisor to drive forward the people agenda. Oversee the implementation and integration of the new HRIS system ensuring HR processes are optimised. Manage global third-party relationships effectively ensuring they support the Foundations needs in compliance, remuneration, benefits and taxes and immigration. Participate in shaping the strategic and operational plans as a key leadership team member. Oversee global HR operations, ensuring efficiency, strong governance and compliance. Develop a diversity and inclusion strategy ensuring the organisation is attracting and retaining a diverse mix of talent. Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organisation. Preferred Skills & Characteristics Significant international HR leadership and experience across multiple jurisdictions at a CPO level in a complex/matrix environment. Multi-jurisdictional employment knowledge, particularly in the UK, US, Germany, and Canada, experience in the Asia-Oceanic region is highly desirable. Demonstrable expertise in HR transformation including leading organisational change and HRIS systems implementation. Extensive board exposure with the ability to prepare succinct board papers and confidently present and influence strategic decision making. Previous experience in remuneration benchmarking and approach across different jurisdictions. Strong communication skills with the ability to develop influential working relationships with all stakeholders across varying levels.
