We are currently recruiting a Global Sales Manager who will focus on the UK,I and Nordic regions. This role will be focus primarily on the continuity on the existing business and maintaining exceptional relationships with their current customer base. The strategic identification on new business opportunities are of course valuable but the primary focus is to maintain excellent customer management and excellence with c25 key customers. Responsibilities * Develop relationships and ensure regular communication with existing customers via visits, email, and telephone to maintain and grow existing business. * Be willing and able to talk with both the technical and commercial departments of customers to gain as much knowledge of product uses and the wider industry as possible to be able to advise them to ensure they retain their customers but also to help with potential further projects. * Attend UK and overseas exhibitions, as required, and follow up. * Utilise industry and market knowledge to strategically identify new business opportunities. * Maintain and improve the quality of service. * Keep up to date on applications, the competition, the market and the developments within the company and its technical capabilities. * Travel, as required, within the UK and Europe. The Person We are looking for a candidate who has proven, global account management/sales experience within the chemical space. You will have experience on a European and/or Global level and be proficient in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers. You will be a clear communicator, confident, self-motivated, and proactive. The successful applicant will have strong influential skills with exceptional time management and organisational skills. Any chemistry or scientific related qualification would be advantageous but not essential. Any experience managing customers from a variety of industry backgrounds would also be advantageous. This is a remote position with a couple of trips a month to their UK head office, with flexible approach to working hours. In return our client is looking to pay c£60,000pa, bonus, fully expensed electric car, private healthcare, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and further benefits.
