Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gold Card Electrician to join our team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a 3-4 month assignment, focusing on metal containment and wiring. Responsibilities
Install and maintain metal containment systems to the highest standards.
Perform wiring tasks in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes and standards.
Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot any issues as they arise.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Hold a valid Gold Card.
Successfully completed the AM2 assessment.
Possess an IPAF certification.
Proven experience in metal containment and wiring.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Day-to-Day
Begin each day with a safety briefing and review of project goals.
Install and secure metal containment systems as per the project design.
Perform wiring tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
Communicate progress and any challenges to the project manager.
