Established in 1967 and headquartered in Walsall, the company has grown into an award-winning business employing over 200 people at a 5,500 m² manufacturing facility, serving customers worldwide. Specialising in the design and manufacture of electrical and electronic control systems, assemblies, cable harnesses, and integrated solutions for machine builders and OEMs, they support sectors including packaging, medical, environmental, and industrial machinery.
They are now seeking an experienced Goods In & Dispatch Supervisor to lead a busy logistics team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all warehouse activities. This is a key leadership role overseeing the flow of goods from receipt through to dispatch, with responsibility for driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the function.
The Role
*
Lead and coordinate the Goods In and Dispatch team to ensure timely receipt, processing, and put-away of all parts and materials.

Oversee the accurate issue of parts to customers and maintain control of stock across bulk, FG (finished goods) and container locations.
*
Manage day-to-day logistics processes using SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems to ensure data accuracy and stock traceability.
*
Maintain compliance with safety and quality procedures while supporting site-wide 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
*
Use SQCDP measures to identify and implement process improvements, boosting efficiency and service levels.
About You
*
Strong background in logistics, warehousing, dispatch, or supply chain operations.
*
Experience gained within the electronics, electrical, or automation industry is highly valued.
*
Proven team leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff in a fast-paced logistics environment.
*
Supervisory knowledge of forklift operations and warehouse safety practices.
*
Comfortable working with SAP or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
*
Familiar with 5S principles and continuous improvement approaches.
