Title: Goods-in Operative/Driver
Reporting to: Production Manager
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Newhaven Factory (33 Avis Way, Newhaven, East Sussex, BN9 0ED)
Hours: Monday – Friday (07:00 – 15:30)
Start Date: 1st September 2025

The role:
Reporting to the Production Manager and working closely with the Goods-in Team Leader, this role involves a combination of operative tasks and driving duties.
Key responsibilities:
* Adhere to BM processes and procedures
* Wear all Personal protective equipment and company uniform provided
* Manual handling of products to and from production tables as and when required
* Ensure all work complete is to a high standard
* Support the team is keeping the factory and canteen area clean
* Ba adaptable between areas and range of works required
* Use various materials, steel, timber, insulations and many others associated within construction
* Communicate effectively
* Collaborating with the Goods-In Team Leader to ensure correct stock has been ordered and managing any returns.
* Driving to suppliers and sites as required for the role.
* Where needed perform operative duties across the factory.
* Ensuring all health and safety and safety procedures are followed.
* Working in a manner safe to you and those around you at all times.
* Maintaining your team’s equipment and work area.
Key skills and experience required:
* Valid driving license and ability to drive to suppliers and sites. (Essential)
* CSCS Card (Desirable)
* Previous experience in a driving/operative role (Desirable)
* Familiarity with goods-in processes and inventory management. (Essential)Before You Apply
