Goods in Operative
Based in Wotton, Surrey own transport is required due to the site location
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 – 16:30
Azenta Life Sciences, specialises in the design, manufacture and marketing of consumables and bench top instrumentation for the life sciences industry.
Developing a range of innovative products for PCR & sequencing, imaging, plate sealing, liquid handling, forensic and NGS sample processing.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and enter data for goods received
* Checking deliveries against order forms
* Labelling of products
* Assigning stock in required locations
* Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment
* Performs a variety of coordinating, routing and material handling duties.
* Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
* Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
* Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
Skills and Aptitude Profile:
* Previous experience working within Goods In
* FLT licence is essential
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual (adapt to differing situations)
* Computer literate with the ability to input and retrieve
* Full UK driving Licence due to the location of the site
* Good level of written and verbal communication skillsBefore You Apply
