Job Description
Our client, based in Blackburn, is looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join their warehouse operations team.
You’ll play a key role in supporting production, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth material handling throughout the facility—including the cleanroom and CME transfer room. If you thrive in a structured environment and are passionate about high standards, safety, and efficiency, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Unpacking sterile products and preparing customer shipments
*
Picking, packing, and preparing materials for cleanroom and subcontractor dispatch
*
Supplying kitted products to production using FIFO, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines
*
Ensuring a steady flow of materials to production to avoid delays
*
Accurately handling inventory, performing regular checks, and reporting any discrepancies
*
Monitoring and managing levels of critical consumables and preparing weekly orders
*
Performing ERP transactions to keep inventory data accurate and up to date
*
Supporting incoming and outgoing goods processes to maintain traceability
*
Operating forklifts and manual handling equipment for safe material movement
*
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant with 5S and safety protocols
*
Taking part in improvement projects and general warehouse upkeep
What Our Client Is Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
*
Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory-based role
*
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
*
Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
*
Strong numeracy and stock control skills
*
A team-focused attitude and willingness to support others
*
Physically fit and comfortable working in a cleanroom environment
*
Forklift license and experience in safe material handling
*
Previous experience using a Warehouse Management Software (WMS)
Desirable (but not essential):
*
Experience in a cGMP-regulated setting
*
Understanding of 5S or other lean practices
*
Familiarity with FIFO inventory and Health & Safety protocols
Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday: 07:45 – 16:15
* Friday: 07:45 – 13:15
