Position:Supervisor GoodsIn /Out   Location:Brackmills Northampton   Position: Type: Full-time -Monday – Friday   Department:Warehouse Operations  Reports to: Warehouse Manager   ABOUT US WALKERPACK  We aspire to be the leading provider of packing, warehousing and order fulfilment services in our chosen markets and sectors.  Our staff are packing more than 30 million parts per year and we provide warehousing and order fulfilment services for a number of major brands. Complimentary supply chain and 3PL services include on-site logistics, hand packing and rework, FSDU build and fill, export packing, bagging, shrink wrapping, decanting, sorting, inspection, testing, returns processing, kitting and configuring. Industry standard IT systems manage processes, stock integrity, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled, suitably packed and delivered on time via a range of transport solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Goods -In/Out Supervisor to oversee the efficient handling and management of our goods entering and exerting our warehouses.  About the Role  As the Goods-In/OutSupervisor at Walkerpack, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of all incoming and outgoing goods. You will collaborate with various departments, manage inventory levels, and contribute to the smooth flow of goods in and out of our warehouses in Brackmills.  Main Purpose of Job (general Tasks  Supervise all goods into the warehouses in line with company processes  Supervise all outbound goods in line with company processes  Supervise all MHE operatives in the goods in out operations   Update the warehouse management systems in a timely manor  Produce all documentation for all inbound loads   Ensure all inbound loads a scanned away into a location  Key Responsibilities:  Oversee the receiving process for all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliveries.  Supervise all the MHE staff in connection with the warehouse goods in and out operations  Inspect received goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with purchase orders and specifications.  Inspect all outgoing goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with picking sheets and orders   Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming and outgoing shipments.  Ensure timely and accurate recording of received goods in the inventory management system.  Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager tomaintainaccurate stock levels and address any stock discrepancies.  Implement and enforce safety and security protocols for the goods-in/out area.  Train and supervise goods-in/out staff, providing guidance on best practices and company policies.  Work closely with the Warehouse Manager /Customer Service team to communicate any issues or delays in the goods-in/out process.  Generate reports on goods-in/out performance and contribute to process improvement initiatives.  Knowledge and Skills Needed  Proven experience in goods-in/outsupervisory role or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced warehouse environment.   Driving licence   Counterbalance licence  Reach truck licence (desirable)  Flexi Licence (desirable)  Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.  Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping.  Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Problem-solving abilities to address issues related to incoming and outgoing shipments.  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.  Person Specification  We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
