Goods In Warehouse Operative required to work for our client in Abingdon Oxfordshire.
Our client is looking for a reliable and methodical individual to join their team at a warehouse in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Salary: £30,000 Per Annum
Job details: Permanent
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00-1730 (30 minutes for lunch)
Start date: ASAP
About the role:
As the Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:
Book in shipments from
Check & log in 3rd party motors
Be responsible for putting away all deliveries from suppliers, with support from the warehouse team
Check stock locations and update SAP as needed
Assist in running perpetual inventory counting system
Unload supplier deliveries, validate suppliers delivery and raise goods received note
checking that parts are in their proper location and stored in line with company guidelines
Load shipments to customers onto lorries
Assist Warehouse staff Picking components for Assembly team to build
Assist Packing goods ready for despatch, including labelling
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness/tidiness of the warehouse
Any other reasonable task as requested by the Operations Manager, or Managing Director, for the fulfilment of the job and according to the needs of the business
Actively follow policies and will maintain an awareness and observation of Fire and Health & Safety RegulationsAbout you as the Warehouse Operative:
Will be reliable
Reach Fork Lift Truck licence
Have attention to detail
Professional attitude and understand that you will have a high responsibility
Be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
