Governance Professional West Bromwich (hybrid) £16,202 (25hr week) Company Profile A midlands based education service provider, supporting schools with administration, governance and minute taking, throughout Sandwell, the Black Country and the West Midlands. The business is a not for profit organisation, where the teams focus is to enrich children and young people’s learning and well-being. What’s on offer? * Free onsite parking * 25hr week, Monday to Friday, managing your own time * Term time only * 5 additional days annual * Flexible and hybrid working * Supportive and collaborative work environment * Governance training provided What will you do as a Governance Professional? * Provide advice, support and guidance in relation to governance best practice * Providing effective clerical and administrative support to school governing boards * Implementing, monitor and review systems for the quality control of board documentation * Work closely with the Board in relation to forward planning and compliance * Attend governance meetings and provide accurate minutes * Ability to build/maintain relationships with the Board, it’s chair and senior leaders What do you need to be a Governance Professional? * Experience as a senior administrator, including taking and producing accurate minutes * Knowledge of school governance and compliance would be an advantage * Excellent communication and people management skills * Experience in using a range of ICT packages * Able to travel to various locations throughout the West Midlands * Ability to work flexible hours (including some evening work) Job ID: 9602
