Role: Governance Support Officer / Administrator Location: West Yorkshire Type: Full time or Part Time - Temporary Rate: £16 - £18 per hour Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic Governance Support Officer / Administrator for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised administrator with strong minute-taking skills to support senior governance activity at board level. This is a temporary role to start from 13th April until end of June. They will consider either full time or 3 days per week The Role You will provide confidential administrative support to the Director of Governance, Chair, Vice Chair and Governors, ensuring the smooth running of Corporation and committee business. Key duties include: - Coordinating meetings, logistics and governance processes - Attending meetings and producing accurate, high-quality minutes - Preparing agendas, reports and tracking actions - Supporting governor recruitment, induction and engagement - Maintaining governance records, policies and compliance documentation - Managing information across systems such as SharePoint and board portals - You will also support audits, document control, and wider administrative processes across the leadership team. About You - Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment - Extensive minute-taking experience, ideally at senior level - Excellent written communication and attention to detail - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities - Confident handling confidential information - Proficient in Microsoft Office - GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent) Experience in governance, compliance or education settings is desirable.
