Overview

Salary: £26,000 to £29,000 per annum
Responsibilities
As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you will:
Assist in the delivery of environmental noise projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Support senior consultants in conducting noise impact assessments for aviation and other sectors.
Use specialist software to model and predict noise levels.
Conduct on-site noise monitoring and surveys.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in acoustics and noise management.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related field.
A strong interest in environmental noise and aviation noise projects.
Basic knowledge of acoustic principles and noise measurement techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
A full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).
Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Graduate Acoustic Consultant may include:
Conducting noise surveys at various locations, including airports and urban environments.
Analyzing noise data using specialized software and tools.
Preparing technical reports and presentations for clients.
