Responsibilities
As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality acoustic solutions for a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in environmental noise and vibration assessments for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
Conducting on-site noise surveys and measurements using state-of-the-art equipment.
Preparing technical reports and providing recommendations to clients.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate acoustic considerations into project designs.
Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Supporting senior consultants in delivering innovative and sustainable acoustic solutions.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
A genuine passion for acoustics and its role in shaping sustainable environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a drive to learn and grow.
A full UK driving license (or willingness to obtain one).Previous experience in acoustics (e.g., through internships or coursework) is a bonus but not essential - we're looking for enthusiasm and potential!
Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Graduate Acoustic Consultant might include:
Heading out to project sites to conduct noise and vibration surveys.
Analysing data and preparing detailed reports for clients.
Attending team meetings to brainstorm innovative solutions for complex challenges.
Learning from experienced consultants and participating in training sessions to enhance your expertise.
