Graduate Arboricultural Consultant - Job Overview
Supporting arboricultural surveys (e.g. BS5837) and tree risk assessments
Assisting in the preparation of high-quality reports and plans for planning applications
Learning how to advise on tree protection, development constraints, and planning policy
Helping prepare technical drawings using CAD or GIS (e.g. ArcGIS Pro)
Collaborating with ecologists, landscape architects, and planners across multidisciplinary teams
Taking ownership of small tasks with increasing responsibility as you grow in confidence
Receiving mentoring and QA support from experienced arboricultural consultantsGraduate Consultant Job Requirements
A degree or Level 4 qualification in Arboriculture, Forestry, or a closely related subject
Strong written and verbal communication skills
