Graduate Planner
Location: Kent
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the largest independent planning and highways consultancy in the South East, in their search for a graduate planner. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for urban planning and development to kick-start their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
Conduct research and analysis to support planning projects
Collaborate with senior planners to develop planning strategies and solutions
Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders to gather project requirements
Prepare reports and presentations for planning proposals
Stay updated on local planning policies and regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
Strong understanding of urban planning principles and practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and other planning software is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
Day-to-Day:
As a Graduate Planner at DHA Planning, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of planning projects, from residential developments to commercial ventures. You will collaborate with experienced planners and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the planning process, from research and analysis to client interaction and project management.
