Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a Graduate Cover Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on school experience, whether you are considering a future career in teaching or simply enjoy working with young people.

The school can offer full-time or part-time work, with opportunities available on a long-term basis or on an ad-hoc, flexible schedule to suit your availability.

Role Responsibilities:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the teacher

Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged in learning

Supporting pupils across a range of subjects

Creating a positive and safe learning environment

Building rapport with students and staff

What We're Looking For:

A recent graduate (all subject areas welcome)

Confident, proactive, and able to manage a classroom environment

Strong communication and organisational skills

A genuine passion for supporting young people

A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
