Job Description
Are you a recent graduate considering a career in education? Do you enjoy working with young people and want to gain hands-on classroom experience?
We are looking for Graduate Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Salford, starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, or youth workers to build experience and develop key classroom skills.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-set work and managing student behaviour. You'll gain valuable insight into school life and build confidence in managing a classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Recent graduates in any subject area
Confident communicators with a proactive and adaptable approach
Passion for education and supporting young people
A professional and positive attitude
Some experience working with young people (e.g. coaching, tutoring, youth work) is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
