Job Description

A highly specialised technology consultancy is looking to hire a Graduate Engineer to join its growing team. This organisation delivers advanced engineering solutions across cyber security, communications systems, and high-performance data processing for complex, real-world applications.

This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects from day one, within a team of highly skilled engineers operating at the cutting edge of software and hardware development.

The Role

You will be involved in the design and development of advanced engineering systems, which may include:

  * 

    Developing software in languages such as C/C++, Python, and JavaScript

  * 

    Working on signal, image, or data processing applications

  * 

    Contributing to embedded systems and hardware development

  * 

    Supporting the delivery of high-performance, secure systems

  * 

    Collaborating closely with experienced engineers across the full development lifecycle

Depending on your strengths and interests, the role can lean towards software or hardware engineering.

What We’re Looking For

  * 

    A 1st or 2:1 degree (or higher) in a numerate subject such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

  * 

    Strong academic background, ideally including A-level Maths and Physics

  * 

    Exposure to programming (e.g. C/C++, Python) and/or hardware development

  * 

    Interest in areas such as:

      * 

        Cyber security

      * 

        Embedded systems

      * 

        Signal processing

      * 

        Electronics or FPGA development

  * 

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Important Requirements

  * 

    Must be eligible for UK security clearance

  * 

    Willingness to work on-site full-time (with some flexibility around hours)
