Graduate Fire Stopping Surveyor – Nationwide
We’re excited to be recruiting a driven Graduate Fire Stopping Surveyor on behalf of our client, a newly established business specialising in fire stopping works. Backed by a nationally operating refurbishment contractor with an excellent reputation, this role combines the energy of a start-up with the security of an established firm. Full training will be provided, and you will work closely alongside a Senior Surveyor, making this an outstanding opportunity with clear scope for career development as the team grows.
About the Role
As a Graduate Fire Stopping Surveyor, you will support passive fire protection projects across a variety of sectors, including student accommodation, retail, residential, and office spaces. This site-based role requires nationwide travel and involves:

Conducting surveys to assess fire stopping requirements and existing installations
*
Assisting in preparing detailed reports and project documentation
*
Supporting site teams to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and quality standards
*
Collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality fire stopping solutions
*
Learning and applying industry best practice under the guidance of a Senior Surveyor
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing industry while receiving full training and ongoing mentorship.
About You

A recent graduate in any discipline (construction-related degrees such as Construction Management, Building Surveying, or Fire Engineering are advantageous)
*
Keen interest in passive fire protection and fire safety
*
Willingness to travel nationwide and work across varied projects
*
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
*
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Qualifications:
*
Basic knowledge of fire safety regulations (e.g., Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005)
*
CSCS card (White/Graduate level)
*
Awareness of passive fire protection systems or fire stopping techniques
*
Valid UK driving licence
