Key Responsibilities:
Supporting ground investigations and a variety of geotechnical site activities
Recording soil and rock conditions and carrying out in-situ testing
Assisting in the production of factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
Contributing to earthworks evaluations and foundation design recommendations
Organising laboratory testing and analysing site investigation results
Assisting with remediation projects and ground engineering solutions
Overseeing site activities while maintaining health & safety standards
Collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
Keeping clear and accurate site records and technical documentation
Communicating with clients, contractors, and external project stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
Degree qualified in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related subject (ideally achieving a 2:1 or above)
Keen interest in geotechnical engineering and ground investigation works
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including technical reporting
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to develop professionally
Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accurate record keeping
Flexible and willing to undertake site-based work when required
Full UK driving licence is advantageous
Must have the right to work in the UK
