Graduate Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Site Investigation Engineer
Overview

Responsibilities
As a Graduate Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Site Investigation Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigations.
Conducting fieldwork, including soil and rock logging, sampling, and in-situ testing.
Supervising drilling, trial pitting, and other ground investigation activities.
Preparing factual and interpretative reports based on site investigation data.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Supporting senior engineers in the design and analysis of geotechnical and geo-environmental solutions.Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline.
A strong interest in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
A willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel to project sites as required.
A valid driving license is desirable but not essential.Day-to-Day
Your day-to-day activities as a Graduate Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Site Investigation Engineer will involve:
Conducting site visits to perform ground investigations and collect data.
Collaborating with team members to analyze and interpret geotechnical and environmental data.
Preparing detailed logs, records, and reports based on fieldwork findings.
Attending project meetings and contributing to discussions on technical solutions.
