A well-established secondary school in Waltham Forest is recruiting a Graduate History Teaching Assistant to support learning across the History department. This is an excellent opportunity for a History or Humanities graduate to gain direct experience in a classroom setting.
What You'll Do:
* Support students in History lessons at KS3 and KS4
* Deliver small group interventions focused on exam technique and subject knowledge
* Help teachers prepare resources and displays
* Encourage students to develop critical thinking and independent learning skills
Requirements:
* Graduate with a passion for History or Humanities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confident, patient, and able to motivate young learners
* Previous experience working with young people is a bonus
