Job Description
A Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of a 1st /2.1 Bachelors / Masters Degree gained from a leading University, proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks and/or Creo), exposure to electronics and some knowledge of FEA / CFD will join an exciting Technical Consultancy where you’ll have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects across Defence, Medical, Industrial and Aerospace applications.

This rewarding career start offers the chance to work with cross functional teams; performing engineering calculations and analysis, assisting in the design and development of mechanical components and systems, supporting prototype development and working closely with customers.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of 1st / 2.1 Bachelors / Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline gained from a leading UK University.
* Strong 3D CAD skills using SolidWorks and / or Creo.
* Hands-on experience within a workshop or assembly environment ideally with some electronics exposure.
* An understanding of manufacturing processes.
* Familiarity with simulation tools such as FEA or CFD.
* Some basic programming or scripting skills.
* Excellent communication skills, customer facing skills and a good team player.
* Willingness to work on Defence projects.
