What Are We Looking For
CO-AT Marine is delighted to welcome applications for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join us on a permanent basis at our office in Paisley. As part of this opportunity, you will be at the forefront of assisting with the design and delivery of projects within the HVAC, Marine and Offshore industry, both locally and with some international opportunities.
This opportunity would ideally suit a recent Graduate with a degree in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering, who is ready to take on an engineering role focusing on the end-to-end delivery of projects, supported by an experienced team, in an industry that continues to evolve. You will be offered key mentorship by leaders of the business whilst developing your skills into an experienced Project Engineering professional.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
  * Working with Senior Engineering staff to create solutions for our Client base and carry these through to project installation.
  * Assisting with project liaison from enquiry stage to completion.
  * Meeting with clients and assisting with site surveys to understand project requirements.
  * Ensure technical information is available and accurate to support design and construction phases.
  * Support the implementation of project quality procedures and ensuring these align with client specifications.
  * Support the preparation of project estimates and quotations under guidance from senior team members.
  * Support with the completion of contract documentation and ensure records are maintained accurately.
  * Attend site visits and client installations to ensure smooth delivery.
What Do You Need?
  * You will have graduated within the last 2 years with a degree in Mechanical or HVAC-based Engineering discipline.
  * Computer literate – proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
  * Willingness to travel to other sites when required. Please note that our project work covers the full of the UK and there is a requirement to attend sites as needed.
  * Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan and organise day to day workloads within a busy environment.
  * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  * Ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels.
  * Full UK Driving Licence.
