Graduate Project Coordinator

Macclesfield 

£27,500 - £28,500 + Extensive Training + Career Progression + Monday-Friday (8am-5pm) 

Are you a recent Mechanical or Electrical Engineering graduate looking to start your career in a professional project management role within a technical engineering environment? 

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established notified body as a Graduate Project Coordinator, where you will receive extensive training and learn how technical projects are managed from start to finish. You don't need previous engineering experience - we're looking for a graduate with the right attitude, organisation and willingness to learn. 

You will work closely with experienced engineers and clients across the UK, Europe and the US, supporting a range of machinery safety, compliance and inspection projects. The role will give you a strong foundation in project coordination and project management, while allowing you to develop your understanding of the machinery safety and compliance industry. 

This opportunity is specifically suited to a graduate at the beginning of their career who wants to join a specialist engineering business, learn how it operates and build their career in project management. Your degree gives you the technical foundation; your organisation, communication and ability to manage priorities will be key to your success.

The role:

Coordinating machinery safety, compliance and inspection projects from enquiry through to completion
Supporting engineers and clients with project schedules, documentation and requirements
Managing priorities, deadlines and project records across multiple projects
Learning the company's processes, services and technical environment through structured training

The Person:

Recently graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline
Some previous work experience alongside or after your degree - this does not need to be engineering-based
Strong organisation, time management and ability to prioritise
Comfortable working as part of a team and following instructions and established processes
Looking to start and build a career in project coordination/project management within a technical engineering environment
