The Role
Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD and more)
Working 1:1 and in small groups under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
Creating a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
Building meaningful relationships with pupils, parents and staff
Gaining first-hand experience of classroom teaching and school life
Progression routes available into teacher training for the right candidate
Ideal Candidate
Degree holder (education-related or psychology background desirable but not essential)
Passionate about working with children with additional needs
Calm, patient and proactive with excellent communication skills
Committed to inclusive practice and eager to learn
Looking to start a long-term career in education
