Graduate Production Manager - Corby | £48,000 | Food Manufacturing
We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Production Manager to join our fast-paced and innovative food manufacturing team based in Corby. This role is perfect for a recent graduate-ideally with some exposure to the food production or FMCG sector-who's ready to step into a leadership position and drive operational excellence on the factory floor.
Your Role:
As a Graduate Production Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day production operations while leading and inspiring teams. You'll be focused on delivering quality products, improving processes, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Duties Will Include:
·Leading production teams to ensure efficient operations and consistent product quality.
·Managing production timelines to meet targets without compromising standards.
·Maintaining compliance with hygiene, food safety, and regulatory guidelines.
·Monitoring stock and inventory levels to prevent disruptions in production.
·Driving continuous improvement through Lean tools such as 5S/6S.
·Hosting regular team briefings to align on targets, updates, and safety protocols.
·Overseeing staffing and shift plans to maintain coverage and productivity.
·Being hands-on where needed-resolving production issues and supporting the team.
·Tracking and analysing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to reduce downtime.
Who We're Looking For:
We're seeking a motivated and practical individual with a genuine interest in food production and a readiness to take the next step in their career. Ideally, you'll have:
·Some prior experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG setting.
·A degree in Food Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a similar field (preferred).
·Knowledge of food safety systems such as HACCP, BRC, or GMP.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·A hands-on, adaptable approach with a keen desire to learn and progress.
