Graduate Surveyor, Property Management – Leeds – £30,000 to £35,000 basic salary + bonus Proven track record in developing their people One of the biggest and leading Surveying firms outside London Independent and Partner led meaning you are more than just a team member This partner led, independent Surveying Practice are looking for a trainee/graduate Property Manager to join the team in Leeds. Out of their superb offices in Leeds City Centre, they specialise in Commercial Property Management, Agency, Valuation/Professional Services, Lease Advisory and Building Consultancy.   You will be joining one of the biggest and best in the country! What's in it for you Basic salary £30,000 - £35,000 DOE, depending on experience 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Team and company bonus schemes Company laptop and phone Access to a company healthcare scheme which covers dental, optical and more (small employee contribution to be made) Payment of professional fees such as RICS An environment where your development and progression is a priority  What you will be doing Working closely as part of a team of 8 surveyors and admin support based at our office in the centre of Leeds, you will be; Assisting the Management Surveyors in all aspects of commercial property management including Service Charges, Landlord & Tenant and Health & Safety/Compliance You will be working on a mixed portfolio of industrial, retail and office property for a variety of clients, from listed companies to private prop co’s to high net worth individuals You will mainly be working on properties in Yorkshire and the North of England but there are other assets under management throughout the UK Overseeing the maintenance of the properties under management via third party contractors Liaising with Accounts on rent, service charge and insurance invoicing, budgeting, year end reconciliations and other financial queries Setting up charges on the property management system Ensuring properties under management are fully compliant in terms of Health & Safety, Fire, DDA, asbestos, legionella etc Liaising with tenants under management including regular site inspections   What you will have Commercial Property Management experience would be ideal A RICS accredited degree is desirable A keen interest in Commercial Property A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
