Graduate Sustainability Advisor
Bristol-based (with regional travel)
Permanent | £25,000 - £30,000 + Car Allowance + Pension
Are you a recent graduate with a background in sustainability or environmental studies, looking to launch your career in a meaningful way?
This is a rare chance to help shape and define a new position within a well-established construction business. Working closely with the Environmental Director, you will play a key role in embedding sustainable practices, improving environmental performance, and engaging with stakeholders across projects and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain the company's baseline carbon footprint, with quarterly and annual reporting
Develop and implement systems and procedures for tracking and reporting embodied carbon
Leverage estimating software to produce embodied carbon data for inclusion in tender submissions
Support and promote sustainable thinking across teams and departments
Work with the supply chain to raise sustainability and ESG standards
Engage with clients' ESG representatives to align with their expectations
Help coordinate and identify opportunities for social contribution initiatives in local communitiesWhat We're Looking For:
A recent graduate in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
A genuine interest in ESG, sustainable construction, and social value initiatives
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confidence to work across departments and with external stakeholders
Willingness to travel between sites (car allowance or company car provided)Package & Benefits:
