📍 Location: Lambeth, South East London
💷 Pay: £100 - £120 per day (depending on experience)
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Are you a recent graduate passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you eager to gain hands-on classroom experience in a nurturing, forward-thinking school?
A well-regarded SEN school in Lambeth is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting students who are non-verbal and have complex communication and learning needs.
Your Role Will Include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with non-verbal communication
Supporting alternative communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices (training provided)
Assisting teachers in delivering personalised, sensory, and life-skills-based learning
Promoting independence, confidence, and emotional well-being
Building strong, trusting relationships with students, many of whom have autism and additional needs
Collaborating with speech and language therapists and specialist staff
Who We're Looking For:
A recent graduate (Psychology, Education, or related fields ideal)
Genuine interest in SEN and working with students with complex communication needs
Patient, compassionate, and proactive
A team player with excellent communication and empathy
Experience with non-verbal children, autism, or SEN (voluntary or paid) is highly desirable
