TimePlan Education is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across secondary schools throughout London on a long-term, full academic year contract. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, or SEN support.
About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll support students across a range of subjects and abilities. You will work closely with classroom teachers, either as a general TA within the classroom or providing 1:1 support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN). These needs may be physical, emotional, or social in nature.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting students in lessons to help them achieve their academic goals
Delivering small-group or one-on-one intervention sessions
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environmentWhat We're Looking For:
Recent university graduates (all disciplines welcome - education, psychology, and social sciences are especially relevant)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young people
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting varied classroom needsPrevious experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
