Graduate Teaching Assistant   Do you want hands-on primary experience before moving into teacher training?   Could you deliver focused 1:1 and small-group support to boost progress across KS1 and KS2?   *** Graduate Teaching Assistant *** Immediate start until July 2026 *** £80 - £100 per day *** ‘Outstanding’ primary school, Walsall *** 1:1 and small group support across KS1 and KS2   The Role: You’ll work alongside class teachers to deliver short, targeted interventions in reading, writing and maths. You’ll provide 1:1 support, guide small groups, prepare simple resources and keep brief notes on impact. You’ll reinforce routines, encourage positive behaviour and help pupils build confidence and independence.   The Candidate: You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, stays organised and builds rapport quickly with children. You follow guidance, use initiative and keep sessions purposeful. A strong interest in primary education and pupil progress is essential.   Requirements • Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject. • Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication. • Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate. • Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine commitment to supporting learning and wellbeing. • Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.   The School: This ‘Outstanding’ primary in Walsall is inclusive, well organised and focused on outcomes.
