Graduate Town Planner - Sidcup - Up to £28,000 + Benefits
(Permanent, Full-Time)
Are you an ambitious Graduate Town Planner looking to take your first step into the world of planning and development? We're working with a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Sidcup, who are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join their growing Planning team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent RTPI-accredited graduate to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of planning projects, working closely with experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
As a Graduate Town Planner, you'll play a key role in assisting with:
Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
Undertaking site appraisals, research, and policy analysis
Supporting senior planners with client meetings and project delivery
Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and design teams
Contributing to planning statements, design and access statements, and development proposals
You'll be encouraged to develop your professional skills, work toward chartered RTPI status, and gain exposure to a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:
A degree or master's in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited preferred)
A genuine interest in the planning and development process
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and research ability
A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach
Previous placement or internship experience within a planning or consultancy environment will be advantageous but not essential.
