GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Oakham
Maternity Cover – July 25 to Aug 26
Salary Range: £28,000 to £30,000
Flexible on 4 or 5 days a week
Hybrid available
Your main responsibilities:
* To design and adapt designs across the whole range of digital and print platforms, with an eye for maintaining the design aesthetic across a variety of resolutions/dimensions.
* Prepare images for delivery across the web, social and email platforms whilst keeping content optimisation and performance in mind.
* Work closely with the broader creative team, aligning with design templates and brand guidelines whilst maintaining high standards.
* Responsible for managing a high volume of projects and deliverables simultaneously.
* Ensure the accuracy and consistency of artwork across multiple campaigns and territories.
The ideal candidate:
Will be someone who can jump straight in and use their expertise in Adobe Suite to create design assets for our brands. As a creative professional, you will be passionate about design detail, craft, and quality in creating print-ready and digital-ready artwork. You possess strong skills in layout design and have an appreciation of typography with a meticulous eye for detail. You are comfortable multi-tasking, working daily with multiple brands, and understanding and interpreting briefs across these brands and different channels, maintaining and reinforcing the individual brand positioning.
Skills and experience:
* Demonstrable experience as a Graphic Designer with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role; evidenced by a portfolio showcasing a range of creative design work.
* A design or relevant qualification would be preferable, but not essential, for the right candidate.
* A depth of experience in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
* A keen eye for detail and an understanding of layout and typography.
* A strong understanding of brand and corporate guidelines.
* An understanding of web design and performance.
* Good communication skills to ensure that planning schedules run smoothly.
* A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude and able to work within a team
* Punctual, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in a fashion-based environment is preferableBefore You Apply
