Job Description
Sign Systems is a well-established sign manufacturing company based in the East Midlands. Due to new contract and recent organisational developments, we are expanding our team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our Ilkeston office.
About the Role:
Working closely with our sales and production team, you will play a key role in creating and preparing high-quality artwork for a variety of signage projects. You will be responsible for producing accurate and visually engaging designs that meet client specifications and are ready for large-format print and production.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop creative design concepts and artwork for a range of signage applications.

Work closely with the sales and production teams to interpret client requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
*
Prepare artwork files for print and ensure accurate print setup for large-format digital printers.
*
Liaise with production to ensure designs translate effectively into finished products.
*
Assist in maintaining brand consistency and visual standards across all outputs.
Skills and Experience:
*
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Flexisign.
*
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present and explain design ideas.
*
An understanding of large-format digital printing and print preparation processes.
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings is advantageous.
*
A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the signage industry.
Additional Information:

Overtime may be required during busy periods.
*
This is a full-time, based at our Ilkeston office in Derbyshire.
*
Hours Monday to Friday 8.00am until 4.30pm.
*
Flexible working.
