They are looking to recruit a Graduate Trainee Health & Safety Manager to cover their Stores across the North West of England. Initially based in Preston this is a superb opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for Health & Safety to join a business that will develop, fund qualifications and help you build a multi department career within an established Retail/Wholesale brand.
The Role:
As a Graduate Trainee, you'll gain hands-on experience across all areas of our clients diverse operations including Retail, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Head Office functions. You'll learn how workplace safety is managed across multiple industries while working alongside experienced professionals while being fully supported to gain industry-recognised qualifications.

Your permanent employment will be subject to the successful completion of the following fully funded qualifications:
* IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH General Certificate to be completed within 4 months
* NEBOSH Diploma to commence upon receipt of General Certificate results, with full support and funding provided over a 12 to 18-month period
These industry-recognised qualifications will give you comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management,hazard control, and how to foster a strong safety culture across varied working environments.
What to Expect to be Doing:
* Support and carry out workplace inspections and risk assessments
* Contribute to improving health and safety policies across the organisation
* Help ensure legal compliance and keep up to date with current legislation
* Assist with incident investigations and reporting
* Gather and analyse safety data to support meaningful improvements
* Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions
* Promote a positive safety culture by working closely with teams across the business
* Receive ongoing mentoring and support from experienced H&S professionals

* A graduate (degree subject flexible as above)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
* A genuine interest in developing a career in Health & Safety
* Commitment to undertaking relevant professional qualifications
* Comfortable working with people at all levels and in different environments

Package:
£28-31k DOE Plus exceptional package
