Location: Pineapple Business Park, Salwayash, Dorset DT6 5DB
Hours: 32 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:30)

We develop many award-winning formulations for a wide range of clients including spas, department stores, hotels, lifestyle brands, therapist ranges, and baby brands. Are you passionate about sustainable beauty and eager to gain hands-on experience in green cosmetic formulation?
About the role: We are offering a unique internship opportunity for a motivated individual to join our New Product Development (NPD) team and support the creation of high-performance, eco-conscious skincare products.
What you’ll do:
* Assist in developing innovative, natural, organic, and biodegradable cosmetic formulations.
* Research and evaluate green raw materials for use in new products.
* Help produce formulation samples for client presentations and compliance testing.
* Support in-house testing for stability, compatibility, and performance.
* Aid in ensuring compliance with certifications such as COSMOS, Vegan, Halal, and Ecocert.
* Collaborate with suppliers to source sustainable raw materials.
* Stay informed on green beauty trends and sustainability innovations.
* Participate in product trials and scale-up from lab to manufacturing.
* Support production when needed and maintain high hygiene standards in the lab.
What we’re looking for:
* Keen interest in green chemistry and sustainable formulation practices. Experience is a plus but not essential.
* Basic understanding of cosmetic ingredients and their functions.
* Familiarity with lab safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
* Enthusiasm for eco-conscious beauty and a commitment to sustainability.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
