Job Description
GREENHOUSE OPERATOR/GENERAL LABOURER
To oversee all aspects of crop cultivation, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to industry standards , monitoring crop health, and implementing necessary interventions to maximise yield while maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.
WHAT WE OFFER:
SHIFT: MONDAY- FRIDAY 4am until 2.30pm or 6am until 2.30pm
PAY RATE : £12.21 per hour
Driving Licence is a must due to location
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the greenhouse
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Care for plants within the greenhouse environment
- Irrigate plants as needed
- Use hand tools for gardening tasks
- Operate power tools for various greenhouse activities
- Assist in equipment repair and maintenance
Desired Candidates:
- Must be physically fit due to bending / kneeling and lifting.
- Must have reliable transport.
- Must have a good work ethic, reliable.
