Job Description
Grid Engineer a major offshore wind developer based in The Netherlands
Responsibilities.
You will have to conduct studies for offshore wind farm projects.
These studies are typically categorized into RMS and electromagnetic transient (EMT) domains, requiring proficiency in simulation tools such as PowerFactory and PSCAD.
The studies include, among others, load flow, short-circuit analysis, transient stability, fault ride-through (FRT), insulation coordination, harmonic analysis, and harmonic stability
The aim of these studies is to optimize system design, ensure grid code compliance, and develop operational guidelines for operation and maintenance (O&M).
This requires your familiarity with relevant standards such as IEC, IEEE, CIGRÉ, and others.Requirements
