Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting CNC Grinders on behalf of Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CNC Grinders, CNC Grinding Operators, Precision Grinders, Aerospace Grinders, and Manufacturing Grinders to join a world-leading aerospace manufacturer producing precision-engineered components to the highest industry standards.

Key Duties
Perform internal and external grinding using MDI (Manual Data Input) CNC grinding machinery.
Carry out surface grinding and thread grinding operations to precise aerospace specifications.
Operate in accordance with OCQ (Operator Control of Quality) procedures.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Follow established process layouts and manufacturing procedures.
Conduct in-process inspections to ensure components meet strict quality standards.
Complete all production and quality documentation accurately.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Grinder within aerospace, precision engineering, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
Experience operating MDI CNC grinding machinery.
Knowledge of internal, external, surface, and thread grinding processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Understanding of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled engineering team.
Proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Shift Pattern
Weekend Shift
Saturday and Sunday.
7am-7pm (12-hour shifts).
