Grinder manual/CNC setter/operator
Leicester LE19
Monday - Thursday 06:00-14:30, Friday 06:00-11:30
Salary £16.80-£17.31 including 17.5% shift allowance
Permanent - Full Time
We are looking for experienced hot forge setter/operator who can be left alone to get the job done. This is working for a well-established busy engineering company in a clean and relaxed environment.
What you will be doing
Set/find fault/operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances
Use gauges, micrometres, shadow graphs to ensure part conform to the drawing
Prove out programs so they're in line with the correct timings
Train on all machines
Self-certification of personal work
Keep computer files/paperwork accurate/up to date
Actively take part in continuous improvement teams
Housekeeping - to the highest standardsTo be considered
Experience operating RSS & Okuma experience or any external grinding experience
Experience working in busy manufacturing environment
Experience setting grinding machines
Aerospace experience would be advantageousWhat do you get out of this?
