Job Description
Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for a Grinder to join their team. As a Grinder you would be responsible for grinding and surfing precision forgings to customer requirements.
Shifts - 4 day week 06.00-16.00
Salary - £14.00 plus competitive benefits package.
Reporting directly to the Department Leader , your key responsibilities will include:
* Remove defects on forgings
* Ensure a high standard finish on components and parts to customer agreed requirement
To be successful in the role of a Grinder you will hold the following skills and experience;
* Experience of using a grinder and able to use various air tools
* Understanding of visual inspection standards and specifications
* Good communicator and a "can do" attitude"
* An attention to detail and able to work meticulously
