Ground Maintenance Operator
📍 Work Location: CROWBOROUGH TN6 1DH (and surrounding areas)
💷 Pay Rate: £14 per hour

We're looking for reliable, hard-working Ground Maintenance Operator to join our busy grounds maintenance team. This is a full-time role working across a variety of council-managed and public sites.
We're looking for a candidate who can drive a Tractor, and this tractor driving role focused on cutting grass at a school would typically outline responsibilities like operating a tractor with mowing attachments, maintaining the tractor and equipment, and potentially assisting with other grounds maintenance tasks. The role would require a strong understanding of tractor operation, safety protocols, and basic mechanical skills.

Council SitesSchedule:
Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Half an hour unpaid lunch break)
Overtime and weekend availabilityKey Responsibilities:
General grounds maintenance (mowing, edging, weeding)
Planting and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and trees
Using hand and power tools for landscaping tasks
Operating and maintaining equipment (lawn mowers, strimmer)
Keeping outdoor areas clean and debris-freeRequirements:
Experience in grounds maintenance preferred to work for Public Sector and Government
Ability to use tools safely (training can be provided)
Physically fit to work outdoors in all conditions
Good time management and attention to detail
Full UK Driving Licence - required
PA1 & PA6 certificates - preferred
