Job Description

Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Workers
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Pay: £13.26 per hour
Contract: Fixed-term until 9th October 2026

About the Role:
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Workers to join our team in Sheffield. These are full-time roles working across a variety of outdoor environments including parks, green spaces, and countryside areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming

  * General maintenance of parks and public spaces

  * Planting, weeding, and upkeep of flower beds and landscaped areas

  * Litter picking and ensuring outdoor areas are clean and presentable

  * Supporting countryside maintenance tasks such as path clearance and basic fencing repairs

  * Operating grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  * A valid UK driving licence (essential)

  * Some previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role

  * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

  * Good work ethic and reliability

  * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
