Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Aylesbury area
About the Role:
An established contractor is seeking a reliable and motivated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team maintaining an important and secure site in the Aylesbury area. You will play a key role in ensuring the outdoor areas are kept clean, tidy, and well presented to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, pruning, and weeding
Leaf clearance and litter picking
General maintenance of flower beds and shrub areas
Hard surface sweeping and path clearance
Use and maintenance of powered horticultural machinery and equipment
Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
Working as part of a team to deliver consistent results
Requirements:
Previous experience in grounds maintenance or horticulture desirable
Ability to use hand tools and powered gardening equipment
Good attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
Full UK driving licence preferred
Willingness to undergo security clearance (as the site is a secure environment)
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
