Job Description
The Best Connection are looking for the following for one of their clients based in the Derbyshire area.
Main Functions of the Post is to be part of the Grounds Maintenance team You will be responsible for achieving high standards of maintenance on various sites as per site specification and the client’s requests, to both hard and soft landscaped areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
Undertake general Grounds Maintenance duties including: grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub bed maintenance, litter picking and the clearing of leaves. Undertake horticultural operations, e.g. assist in the planting and pruning works, including seeding & turfing.
You will also carry out one off projects in relation to grounds maintenance. Complete daily / routine checks on equipment and machinery. Complete all necessary recording sheets as per statutory requirements. Some driving duties using a variety of light vehicles and possibly trailers. Apply fertilizers to beds and grass areas and ensure all work carried out is in accordance with site specification upon completion. Adhere to Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations. You will receive training and development in this role too. Full UK Driving licence preferred
