Job Description
We are looking for a number of Grounds Maintenance operatives in the Cannock area!
**MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENCE**
Responsibilities
* Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
* Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
* Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
* Irrigate gardens and lawns to ensure proper hydration and growth.
* Build and maintain garden structures such as raised beds or trellises as needed.
* Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
* Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing basic mechanical repairs when necessary.
* Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects efficiently.
Requirements
* Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Physical stamina to perform manual labour, including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
* Attention to detail with a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
* A valid driving licence is required for operating grounds maintenance vehicles.
